mumsinspain.com relaunch!

We have long been fans of website www.mumsinspain.com Not only did we meet via mumsinspain, so in fact had it not been for mumsinspain, Indybel would never have existed, but also mumsinspain is a source of invaluable and up to date advice for all mums and mums to be in Spain .... During my first pregnancy mumsinspain didn't exist and the lack of information about having a baby in Spain was quite scary. For anyone discovering they are pregnant now or for any mums who are moving to Spain, happily mumsinspain provides the awnsers to all your questions.

www.mumsinspain.com has just been relaunched with a brand new look and feel and a fab new user friendly forum. We just wanted to say congratulations to Claire on her great new site, which we know will continue to go from strength to strength. Claire has some great ideas for new features for the future which will continue to help all mums in Spain and in our opinion the more info out there, the better! So keep visiting this great site if you are a mum in Spain and support and help other mums out here too by using her forum.

It's really important to help and support other mums in business in Spain too and mumsinspain and indybel have helped and supported each other from the start ..... if you are a mum thinking of starting a business in Spain check out the mumsinspain business network for more info and advice ....

Pregnant in France, Italy, Germany, Greece ......or anywhere in Europe?!

We often get enquiries at Indybel asking us if we deliver our pregnancy and baby products to other European countries. We have had enquiries from pregnant and new mums in Bulgaria, Finland, North Africa, France and even Sweden. And the short awnser is YES ... we are happy to deliver throughout Europe so long as we can do so efficiently for the customer. By this we mean that some products such as the playpen are particularly heavy and would mean a hefty delivery fee for the customer which would probably not be cost effective, but so long as we can deliver safely, easily and at reasonable cost to you then we will do!

Customers in other countries who are interested in buying from Indybel can sign in and will receive further instructions at the check out as to how we send to their country. Customers are also welcome to email us at http://www.indybel.com/ and we will obtain a delivery quote for them. In this instance it's great if you can email us an idea of the products you are interested in, that way we can obtain a more accurate quote for you as prices are usually based on weight as well as distance. Indybel are happy to source European couriers for our customers and have several that we currently work with, but we are also more than happy if customers would like to arrange their own collection via a known courier in their Country.

So, if you are pregnant or a new mum in France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Portugal, North Africa, the UK, Holland, Switzerland ........ or anywhere else and you are looking for innovative, organic and fanatastic pregnancy and baby products that can be delivered to your door ... look no further ... we've got everything you need at http://www.indybel.com/

Marbella Kids

I know we live in a hot country with many outdoor activites, but even here in Spain and especially during the winter when shock horror it does rain, I sometimes stuggle to find things to do to amuse my energetic two year old on a daily basis.

So, I am delighted that one of my good friends has launched a site full of ideas about what do with little ones on the coast. Marbella Kids is dedicated to the what's what about the where's where of what to do with little one's in and around Marbella. Everything from parks and beaches to activity centers, playgroups, wildlife and swimming. As well as reviews of each activity, there are also handy details including addresses, prices and opening hours. Everything you need to know about what to do and where to go in one place!

The site is still in it's infancy and growing every day so expect lots more as the girls keep adding to it. A great and much needed resource for all kids and parents on the coast!

Midwives in Spain

For a while now Indybel have been working with several great British midwives working throughout Spain. Anne on the Costa del Sol has been actively promoting our services since the summer and we are hugely greatful for her support, we are now delighted to also be working with Shawn in Barcelona and Sue in Madrid. These midwives are a great support to us foreign mums in Spain. The Spanish health care services are excellent but it's great to be able to ask questions in our own language and fully understand the changes that are taking place in our bodies.

This weekend we were contacted by another midwife here on the Costa del Sol. Her name is Marion and she has a clinic in San Pedro where she runs both pre natal and post natal consultations, gives advice on giving birth in Spain and also has a baby and vaccination clinic. She's a great contact for all mums and mums to be on the Costa del Sol and we are delighted to now be working with her. If you'd like to find out more about Marian's services, check out her website at http://www.costadelsolmidwife.com/ Don't worry if you don't live near San Pedro, she does home visits too!!
